Booking Tips

Book Early for Summer

Peak season (June–August) fills up fast, especially properties near the Marsh Walk or the State Park. Book 2–3 months ahead minimum for July 4th weekend or summer holiday weeks.

Best Value: Spring & Fall

Late April through May and September through October offer near-perfect weather with significantly lower rates. The Marsh Walk is less crowded, the beach is quieter, and fishing is excellent.

Location Matters

Staying right on the Marsh Walk means walkable dinners and easy nightlife access. If beach is the priority, aim for properties near Garden City Beach or Surfside Beach, just a few minutes south.

Near Brookgreen & State Park

If Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington Beach are your main draws, look for rentals between Murrells Inlet and Pawleys Island — you'll be centrally located to hit both without backtracking.
